Alelo websites and services (collectively “Alelo” in this document) refers to sites hosted by Alelo Inc, and other related domains and subdomains thereof.

Website Visitors
Like most website operators, Alelo collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Alelo’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Alelo’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Alelo may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Alelo also collects potentially personally-identifying information like email address for the purposes of registering users, and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Alelo does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Gathering and Usage of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Alelo choose to interact with Alelo in ways that require Alelo to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Alelo gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we may ask visitors who use certain of our services to provide a username and email address. In each case, Alelo collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Alelo. Alelo does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
If you are an End User receiving access to our services through a Educational, Corporate, Governmental or other Organizational Enterprise Client of Alelo (collectively “the Client” in this document, the Client organization may be provided with your usage data for academic evaluation purposes. If wish to request access, limit use, limit disclosure or remove your End User personal data, please contact the Client organization that submitted your personal data to us, or with which you are affiliated, and we will support them as needed in responding to your request.
Rights to Access and Control Your Personal Data
You can request the following actions regarding your personal data:
• Delete Data: You can ask us to delete all of your personal data.
• Right to Access and/or Take Your Data: You can ask us for a copy of your personal data in machine readable form.

Use of Voice Recordings
Certain features of some of Alelo’s products and sites use the Microsoft Bing Speech and the Google Cloud Speech APIs to perform speech recognition. When you use the speech recognition feature, the things you say will be recorded and sent to Microsoft and/or Google in order to convert what you say into text and to process your requests. Alelo and its research partners may use your voice input, as long as it is collected in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve Alelo’s products and services.
By using the speech recognition feature, you agree and consent to Alelo and its subsidiaries’ and agents’ and research partners’ transmission, collection, maintenance, processing, and use of this information, including your voice input, to provide and improve Alelo’s speech recognition functionality in other Alelo products and services.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Alelo discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Alelo’s behalf or to provide services available at Alelo, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Alelo, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Alelo will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, Alelo discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when Alelo believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Alelo, third parties, or the public at large. If you are a registered user of an Alelo website and have supplied your email address, Alelo may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Alelo and our products. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Alelo takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Alelo uses cookies to help Alelo identify and track visitors, their usage of Alelo, and their website access preferences. Alelo visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Alelo’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of Alelo’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Do Not Track Requests
Alelo does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.
Privacy Policy Changes
Although most changes are likely to be minor, Alelo may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Alelo’s sole discretion. Alelo encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
